British born in London, I only recently fulfilled my long-term ambition to write a book. My friend Steven Dennant and I had made several incomplete attempts at writing screenplays, but neither of us had found the time to complete the projects. After elaborating the story behind 'LOSER' which has been in my head for nearly 20 years, Steven convinced me to write the book. Convinced is perhaps not the correct word to use as Steven sat me down, put a laptop in my hands and forced me to start writing. Two hours and 2000 words later the story saw the first light of day for nearly 15 years since I originally penned it whilst travelling too-and-from work on the train.
During the five months I spent writing LOSER, I discovered a new passion that had lay dormant in me since my school-days. I updated my friends on my progress and also told them about my next three books that I now can't wait to write (I have actually started the second already) as well as a developing collection of short stories.
LOSER has now been released on Kindle and will be available soon on paperback and I'm nearly 10,000 words into my next book (unrelated) FLYBOY which I plan to complete by the end of this this year (2012) I 'see' my stories as dreams and daydreams, movies in my mind's eye and simply recount the scenes as I have seen them. I already know my next three stories right up to the very last words and I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I am enjoying writing them.
